"Legal recognition must not be contingent upon the existence of the Human; legal recognition must enable the existence of the Human"
The Human that does not exist yet must exist in the eyes of the Law
The illustration refers to Themis, the goddess of Justice in Greek antiquity. Each scale represents a Human - both the one who exists and the one who is yet to come - whom justice and the Law must consider to ensure that no one is denied legal recognition
Legal recognition of every Human is the fundamental principle of our modern societies, driven by humanism.
Today, Humanity is urged to understand that legal recognition must not - as it is right now - be limited to the Human who exists, but must also extend to the Human who does not yet exist and is to come:
Identifying the legal recognition of the Human yet to come by questioning the presence of someone tomorrow:
Identifying the legal recognition of the Human who is to come by questioning the act that would have deprived yesterday this Human of being here today:
From the case of the young girl to that of the embryo by questioning the other Human who is yet to come:
From the case of the young girl to that of the embryo by questioning the other act that would have deprived yesterday this Human of being here today:
Currently, the Human to be protected corresponds to the Human that exists. So, in the case of the embryo, attention is only paid to the embryo that exists, and the question is:
"Is the embryo a Human?"
Once the value of the Human to come is understood, no further questions arise. Everyone understands that the embryo must be preserved because:
"Tomorrow, the embryo is a Human!"
Asserting the existence of a Right and then determining which Human is under this Right:
Girl's case:
Initial question:
"Do you want her to be here tomorrow?"
Answer:
"I surely do! This girl has to be here tomorrow!"
"I recognise this girl as having the Right to be here tomorrow!"
"I recognise the One this girl is destined to be as having the Right to be here tomorrow!"
Embryo's case:
"I recognise the Human the embryo is destined to become as having the Right to be here tomorrow!"
"I recognise the obligation to protect the embryo based on the Right to be here tomorrow of the Human it is destined to become"
Is the crown of flowers placed on the head of every Human? Are all Humans anointed today ? Are none missing, and can the laurel of peace truly be raised ? We believe so, but it is not the case if the crown is also to be placed on the head of the One to come.

reAD moreIn the name of this Right, it is the presence of this child along this path that is to be protected. However, is this child limited to the one he is today that we find all along this path?
PDFThis child is the reality of tomorrow. This is her face. However, since this child is not a reality today, we believe that this child doesn't deserve any consideration.
Except that we hadn't understood that the one we consider in every Human is not only the reality that he/she is today, but also the reality that he/she is going to be tomorrow!"
De lege feranda
(the law that must be)
Can we dispute the deduction that the Human whose presence we desire tomorrow is the one who is yet to come?
If this deduction is irrefutable, then we must accept all its consequences, and therefore acknowledge that every Human who is to come has the Right to be here tomorrow.
It becomes everyone's responsibility and duty to defend this Human and to take necessary action to ensure his or her Right to exist is recognised by law.
